We have an immediate need for a Expeditor JOB DESCRIPTION CDI is currently recruiting for our client a global provider of energy equipment and solutions for the power generation and oil gas industries. This challenging contract opportunity is located at our client site in Springfield, MO. Position Requirements This position requires the ability to handle all facets of customer replacement parts orders for mechanical machinery and electronic components, dealing with vendors and customers in a cordial and expedient manner. Good communication skills are mandatory as the position requires direct contact with all company departments, representatives, customers and vendors. Must possess the self-motivation and professional competence to deal effectively and accurately with multiple priorities, be computer literate and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or spare parts department would be helpful. Responsibilities: . Expedite parts orders. . Handle shipping and receiving for parts and service department. . Ensure shipments are correctly packed/crated, and accurately complete all associated paperwork. . Coordinate freight arrangements for domestic and international shipments for parts and service department. .
